Apple, please, put Blu-ray drives in Macs! At least as an option.

Dent Du Midi: adds MIDI options to GarageBand
Is that all this program does? It is on my stepdad's pb (given to all faculty at a performing arts school he teaches at) and he can't figure out what it is for. Any more info on this program?

We had a huge day yesterday! 879,000 points in a single day!
Can we hit a million points in a day?
Some more good news: at this rate, we are a week away from overtaking a team ahead of us, and less than a month from passing two more! Our biggest threat behind us is 8 months away, but by that time we will have passed at least 5 teams ahead of us. Great job guys! Keep it up!

The idea of an iChat Phone is interesting. I don't know how kids are in the US but in europe they use teir phones more to send txt messages then to actually talk. But on the other hand I guess this phone would be priced too high for those kids and in europe everybody uses MSN instead of AIM so I'm not sure they would ever try to release such a device because in that case they should port iChat to Windows as well to make it a hit worldwide.

I left my 3Gs attached to my mac through firewire and overnight the battery drained.
When I came back it wouldn't charge and now I have tried to charge it on 2 different macs with 2 different fire wires and both haven't recognized the Iphone.
When I hold down the power and menu buttons the apple logo pops up and for a brief second a picture of a fire wire comes up.
Do I have any options other than get professional help/new phone?

So is this guy going to write to Steve Jobs every time he finds an iPad on eBay for $100 less than retail? How about 1� auctions?
If TJ Maxx got their hands on enough stock who the F cares and go pick one up if you want one! I'm personally waiting for Gen 2 with FaceTime.

It probably just means that the iMac is not functional, as in Apple Technicians made it out of spare parts.

I have herd that apple will soon be making more updates on MBP changing the Looks of the existing macbook pro they jus released on 26th feb 2008. Is dat true? cuz i wna buy a MBP now but i dont knw if i shud cuz what if they change the looks in june? If anyone has any information please let me know..Thanks

Does anyone know the legal music rights for selling videos? I have heard that if you make less than 500 copies, then you dont need to get rights to the music you use. Is that true? I will probably only make 2-300, selling them for maybe $5. I didnt use mainstream bands, but not local ones either. Any info would be appreciated.

just opened 2 films on iplayer, itunes movie, and all the other applications i can find and its sitting about 48 deg C.
Main fan is wired into 12v so at max flow all the time but still not to bad at all

btw, whats the verdict on ram coolers? yes/no
I borrowed a faster Mac, and used that to install to its HDD, I think it mayve had more RAM, then dumped the HD in my trusty eMac and let it boot. It wouldnt boot on 64MB though... I tried that xD

Synergy - iTunes controller (shareware but I think with a free trial)
SafariSpeed - removes lag in loading webpages
Those 4 I couldn't live without and I usually don't like installing many other apps.

I know it's a pain, but if you sit through the .mac seminar at an apple store, they offer it to both new and existing customers for $69. That's what I've done for the past two years.

If they are willing to sell the product at a $100 loss, that's their choice. You may not have a warranty, etc, because they aren't "authorized" by Apple as a price-controlled reseller, but that doesn't mean it's illegal for them to sell it.
I sold my iPad on craigslist at a loss. I'm not authorized to do that and Steve doesn't care.

Its the screen saver Polar Clock 3.0 (http://blog.pixelbreaker.com/polarclock) with the app Wallsaver (http://www.wallsaverapp.com/) running lets you use any screen saver, as your desktop background. :p Now, no need for any questions. Good good :D
