My spouse and I are currently on H1-B and we applied for EAD and I-485 with my spouse as the primary applicant through his company.
Do I have to wait for 180 days before I change employers and start using the EAD (since I am the secondary applicant)? Or can I use my EAD as soon as I get it?

Guyz just chill!!! How doz it even matter...Nothingz in our hands now...V have done our bit and let us let them do their bit. One shud appreciate the USCIS' efforts to bring about a temporary solution to the long wait. Atleast things r happening.

You must have applied 120 days in advance or many days in advance before old AP expiry. USCIS issues AP from the date it was approved so you tend to lose some months. I have heard some other members include a cover letter which says AP start date should be from date of expiry of old AP. Since you already got the document, I doubt you can do much about it. You may lose 2-3 months just trying send it back and requesting it to be corrected. I guess next time when you renew keep the cover letter in mind.
Not necessarly true. Last time when I renewed the AP, it was approved from 2 days prior to intended travel date specified in the application for 1 year. I am not sure what can be done about this 9 months thing.. hopefully other members will pitch in with experience.

I received an RFE for my EAD renewal.
It says "Please submit proof that you have filed an I-485 Application"
I have a copy of my receipt of I-485. Would that be enough to send? Why would they ask for proof of I-485? This is my second EAD renewal.
Please let me know.

We have the same situation. I am the primary and got my GC last July. Spouse still does not have it. We have a PD of Sep 2005 and 485 RD of Sep 2005. No idea what is happening. We also have contacted our Congressman, Senator, and done Infopass and SR. Our case was originally filed at VSC, transferred to TSC and is now at a "USCIS Office"

You have answered your own question. This immunization protects you from most forms of TB and causes you to have a positive skin test since you have antibodies in your system to attack the PPD test ingredients when they are put under your skin.
Not sure why you are worried about it? This is no different from the other vaccinations you were given as a child that you had no choice on.
I am from the UK and every child was given the BCG vaccine for decades, normal course of growing up.

My company had promised that they would start my GC processing once I complete a year which was in March 2009. Since then they have been going back and forth with the lawyers writing the job description to post the job ad.
The lawyer tells us that the department of labour has tightened up the process and so the job description needs to be very generic with minimum number of years of experience(2 for a sr. software engineer) and this has caused a lot of controversy that this will cause an audit and so on and forth.
I am sure there are many other people out there who are applying even now. I do not know if its the lawyer or the company that is causing an issue here.
My only option would be to search for another job who will do my GC. But i dont have so much time left for all that.
What can i do?

1.Can I add my spouse to my GC status when PD is not current?My spouse is on H1B visa.
Not until your PD is current or close to being current. Does she have an approved LC and I-1140, pending 485 (concurrent filing)? If she does u may have some advantages like cross-chargeability etc.
2.If I start using EAD, is it still possible to add spouse or I should maintain valid H1 status?
Doesnt matter as long as you maintain either H1-B or AOS(pending I-485)
